UPDATE: The staff at the Little Gym responded and we appreciate the time they took to address our concerns. I feel confident that there will be improvement in the upcoming months and look forward to seeing what's to come. We've been greatly disappointed by the declining regard for the safety and quality of lessons. In every class we've regularly attended, the instructors struggle with one or two children who need additional attention creating an unsafe environment for the other students. We've seen numerous kids, including my own, be pushed, bumped, hit, and tripped by reckless behavior, and often, it's either unnoticed or disregarded by the instructors. Every child deserves an equal chance to experience these activities but when it becomes a safety issue at the expense of the other kids, it's a problem. Additionally, we've been asked a handful of times to move classes because they're trying to separate ages but it's never consistent. We've had classes 4-6 age and now they want 4's and 5's separated. The kids make friends, they get close, then they're forced away...over, and over, and over. These frequent adjustments have caused our daughter a lot of anxiety - no other activity we are involved in seems to be this inconsistent. As far as instructors go, the good ones seem to leave whether it be for school or other reasons. There are a couple of solid instructors left but overall we've been underwhelmed by the newer staff and how they handle the classes and safety. We shouldn't be hesitant to bring our child to the Little Gym concerned for her wellbeing.

Our daughter has been coming since March and I have yet to meet an instructor I didn’t like. The lessons here are subtle enough that the kids don’t always see them, but they have a great impact outside of class as well. Our girl loves “gymnastics day” and I wouldn’t trade that joy for anything. That alone would keep us coming back, but the classes have brought her out of her shell and given her confidence as well. Would definitely recommend!!

My daughter has been coming here for almost a year and she looks forward to it every Saturday! It took her a few classes to feel confident enough to participate but every single teacher is so patient and goes above and beyond to make sure all the kids gain that confidence.

TLG of Chesapeake has been great! We've been coming since our kiddo was 18 months. He loves Mr. Mark, Ms. Erika and Ms. Emily!

Excellent gym for kids, even for those with special needs. The structure of the program works perfect for my daughter. Most of the staff are very caring and patient.

My daughter has been going to the Little Gym for about three years. The staff are so sweet and hard working. They come up with fun activities while teaching fundamentals. It's been a fantastic experience for the both of us!

The teachers are all so positive and encouraging. You can tell they love what they do! Claire looks forward to seeing her new friends each week and is continually growing socially and emotionally. We are so blessed to be part of this awesome family.

My daughter absolutely loves going to see all her friends! Fun interactions, and learning new lessons everyday! Definitely recommend!
