My family and I LOVE TLG Shaker Heights! We started Birds classes when my baby turned one, and she has truly grown by leaps and bounds. She is an only child and TLG allows her to have great socialization with different babies her age while they work on a variety of skills. I have truly seen my girl grow in confidence with how her body moves, as well as with interpersonal relationships like you wouldn't believe. She is so outgoing now, with both the other children as well as adults. Learning some of the activities in class has also helped guide us for some activities at home as well to encourage walking, balance, etc. The teachers/coaches are all incredible with the children, they never force them to do anything and always work with the child's buy-in of whatever the activity is. The entire staff is so friendly and open, you really feel like you're a part of the family. The space is also large (and very clean!) with a wide variety of equipment for children to explore as well as for teaching different skills. We are so happy to have found TLG Shaker Heights!

Amazing teachers! We’ve been taking my son since he was around 9 months and it’s been a great way to get him moving and meet parents with kids around the same age. Teacher Evan and Teacher Katie were both great for us, but different kids vibe with different teachers.

One of the happiest places ever!!! The staff is incredible. Our daughter LOVES it. Can’t recommend more to families in the area!

We've been attending the little gym since our nearly 5 year old was a baby. What we've gained: - my son is naturally cautious by nature. He's developed skill and confidence with his body. An example: during a difficult hike in the woods he was having to balance across a stream and recognized it was like a balance beam and was able to successfully cross. - when he was a baby it provided a good parent / child space. This was so important for me as a parent. - as he grew into the separation process he felt safe because he was able to watch me through a window. - my son has developed a strong sense of belonging and community by knowing teachers and other families well there. - it gives me a break! I'm able to take him to class and go on a walk and then pick him up (now that he's older). - they have babysitting monthly and he loves it. We are able to go out for dinner while he has fun. - we talk about needing a "village" and this is a realistic, practical way of creating one. - the people who work here truly care and committed to the local community and to the kids.

We love this place very much. The class is structured and fun, and we are very happy for how much our child grows here. More importantly, the staff and teachers are all very caring, and they really make this place a "family" for all of us. We have spent 6 months here and plan to stay until our child is too big to come here.
