Early childhood development lays the foundation for a child’s future physical, emotional, cognitive, and social well-being. Here are some of the ways that your little one would benefit from a child program at The Little Gym:
During the early years, your child’s brain undergoes rapid growth and development, forming neural connections that shape their cognitive abilities, learning capacity, and overall intelligence.
Early childhood is when children learn important social and emotional skills, such as empathy, self-regulation, and how to form relationships with others. These skills are essential for managing emotions, and navigating social interactions throughout life.
The early years are a sensitive period for language development. Children learn to communicate, express themselves, and understand others through interactions with caregivers, exposure to language-rich environments, and early literacy experiences.
Early childhood is when the most physical growth occurs. Proper nutrition, adequate sleep, and opportunities for physical activity during this period are essential for establishing healthy habits and preventing health problems later in life.
Early childhood experiences play a significant role in shaping a child’s cognitive abilities and readiness for school. Activities that promote play and creativity lay the groundwork for academic success and lifelong learning.
Building resilience and coping skills early in life helps children navigate challenges and setbacks more effectively. Positive early experiences and supportive relationships with caregivers provide a buffer against stress and adversity, promoting mental health and well-being.

At The Little Gym, your little one will be engaging in age appropriate activities that are geared towards your child’s development.
Along with helping them refine their gross motor skills, our classes incorporate music and movement that engage your child’s body and mind, with other children their ages.
We believe that the best kind of learning combines fun and adventure. Our curriculum is structured and designed to provide a safe space for your child to take calculated risks, boosting their curiosity and love for movement and learning. Even though they will be engaging in play-based activities, your child will also develop problem-solving skills, resilience, and the ability to embrace challenges.
Parents will be present with their infant or toddler, but they will also receive support from our experienced instructors who are passionate about helping your child build their confidence and gross motor skills.
