TLG AT HOME
Different mat, same energy! The Little Gym at Home is an interactive, live, virtual class experience designed to keep your kids moving, learning, and having fun when you can’t get to the big red mat. Our At Home classes not only incorporate the same age-appropriate class elements you and your child experience in the gym, they also feature teachers you know and love, live in your living room or backyard. COVID-19 GYM UPDATES AS OF 3/24/2020
Dear TLG Family,
We hope each one of you are healthy and safe as our nation continues to try and flatten the curve of the COVID-19. I know none of us could have imagined living through times like we are right now. This has truly been scary and confusing for so many of us. What we must remember, this too shall pass. We will make it through this a lot stronger and more grateful. Together, we will do this as a community.
It’s this community that is helping us get through all of this right now. I can’t thank you all enough for showering my team with encouraging words and praise on our social media pages, emails, texts and calls. It’s that love and support that keeps myself and this team going during this trying time. We miss your kids so much in the gym. The gym is a lonely place without them. It’s hard being without them because we enjoy being a part of their lives and helping them grow skills and confidence each week.
However, we will stay connected until we can get back to normalcy through our “The Little Gym At Home” videos on Facebook and a few other ways I will mention a little later. We appreciate you taking the time to share these in-home learning opportunities with your children. If you haven’t done so already, please be sure to join us. We love seeing the pictures and videos of your kids doing some of these activities, and we are grateful for those of you who have even shared our posts with friends and family. TLG is alive and well because of members like you!
Governor Roy Cooper implemented a closure on gyms and salons through April 30th. It is our plan to open on May 1s t once that is lifted. Meantime, we will continue to update you via email and through posts on our social media pages. While classes are postponed, we will be proactively adding makeup classes to all accounts to cover missed classes during this period.
There will be extending timeframes and flexible options for using these make-ups providing your child with plenty of future skill-growth opportunities.
***We have created a program for families to donate makeups that accrue for suspended classes to families of medical professionals and first responders. When we reopen, these will be made available to those families as a thank you for their sacrifice during this time.
****As fellow parents and partners in this community, we want to do what’s best to reach of our customers while also trying to support our team with our small-family owned business. Our family’s and our instructors’ livelihoods rely on the ongoing revenue from our community. Since we don’t know how long this separation period will last, at this time our intention is to proceed with the next scheduled payments on April 1st. If this creates any challenges or hardship for you and your family, please reach out and we can discuss other options including pausing or freezing your account. The last thing we want to do is put any of our valued members in a difficult situation.
If you have questions about your specific account, we encourage you to reach out to us by texting (919) 481 – 6701 or emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We realize that your children, just like all of us, may be experiencing a variety of emotions as they adjust to changes. They might be picking up subtle cues from our personal stressors and/or having trouble adjusting to change in routines and schedules.
If you haven’t already, please share our virtual videos with them. Scroll through our page as you will find many fun activities for all ages. They can be found on our Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/TLGCaryNC/.
Would your child like to get a personal phone call, text, or Facetime call from their teacher? Text us at (919) 481 – 6701 or email your requests to email@example.com to make arrangements.
Would your child like a pen pal? If they would like to mail us a picture or letter, we will mail them back. It’s a great school activity! Please address mail to 958 High House Road, Cary, NC 27513.
If there is anything we can do to support you, please let us know. We have the privilege to serve many families in the community and may be able to help make connections if you have a specific need or can offer some sort of help.
On behalf of the entire team at The Little Gym of Cary, we want to express how grateful we are for your dedication to our very special community. While there may be “social distancing,” right now, we are committed to staying connected and we thank you for being at the heart of everything we do.
Ms. Connie, Mr. Brandyn, Ms. Amy, Ms. Janice, and the rest of our team at The Little Gym of Cary
PAY IT FORWARD DURING THE CORONAVIRUS CRISIS
PAY IT FORWARD
On behalf of The Little Gym of Cary team, I wanted to express our gratitude for the health care professionals, first responders, and additional essential employees that have been working around the clock to keep our community healthy and safe. To say thank you, we have set up a program that allows The Little Gym families to Pay it Forward and donate their unused make-up classes to those playing a vital role in protecting our community. Once we re-open our doors, these classes will be divided up and made available to those families as a token of our appreciation.
If you would like to participate in our Pay it Forward program, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call or text 919-481-6701. We look forward to having the opportunity to give back to more families in our community!
