This was the best place to have a birthday party for my 5 year old! Her friends loved it too. A few of them asked their parents if they could have their birthday’s here as well lol. I’m 9mo pregnant and struggle with disabilities that impact my physical abilities. If you are disabled and struggle planning parties or deal with the consequences of pushing through to have a party for your kids, I strongly suggest considering this as an accessible option. They put everything together for you! All me and my daughter’s father did was bring cake, food, and some goodie bags. I cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you for this wonderful experience!

We've been attending the little gym since our nearly 5 year old was a baby. What we've gained: - my son is naturally cautious by nature. He's developed skill and confidence with his body. An example: during a difficult hike in the woods he was having to balance across a stream and recognized it was like a balance beam and was able to successfully cross. - when he was a baby it provided a good parent / child space. This was so important for me as a parent. - as he grew into the separation process he felt safe because he was able to watch me through a window. - my son has developed a strong sense of belonging and community by knowing teachers and other families well there. - it gives me a break! I'm able to take him to class and go on a walk and then pick him up (now that he's older). - they have babysitting monthly and he loves it. We are able to go out for dinner while he has fun. - we talk about needing a "village" and this is a realistic, practical way of creating one. - the people who work here truly care and committed to the local community and to the kids.

We love going to the Little Gym! The coaches are so welcoming and supportive of our little one, and makes an effort to know every child’s name in the class. We love going every week and seeing what the Little Gym has in store, and how it can help develop our child in multiple ways.

We absolutely love The Little Gym in Roanoke! My daughter has been coming here since before she could even walk, and now that she’s almost two, it’s been so special to watch her grow in confidence, coordination, and independence. The instructors are incredibly kind, patient, and engaging—they truly know how to connect with little ones and make every class fun. It’s been such a sweet bonding experience for us, and something we both look forward to every week. Highly recommend for any parent looking for a positive, encouraging environment for their child to learn and play!

We’ve been coming to the little gym since she was a year old and my little loves to come every week. We love ms Ashley and all the staff here! Highly recommend.
