The Little Gym
our story
About us
A History
of Serious Fun
An innovative educator, musician, and kinesiologist, The Little Gym founder Robin Wes envisioned a nurturing place where children could explore their physical development, while also growing socially, emotionally, and intellectually.
He opened the first The Little Gym in 1976 in Bellevue, Washington, and infused those early classes with the same positive, non-competitive spirit that characterizes us today.
We’re proud to have been the original creators of childhood development long before it trended online, and even prouder to grow alongside the mindful parents, passionate team members, and incredible kids who make this mission matter every day.

Such a fun and intentional place for gymnastics for littles! All 3 of my boys go here for gymnastics (ages 2, 3, and 4), and my youngest did his birthday party there in March! The coaches are wonderful - kind, skilled, and well-loved by the kiddos.
