1. The equipment is clean, safe, and age appropriate.
2. The activities hold my 2 year olds attention and he learns new skills every single time.
3. THE STAFF! We love the staff. We go to 2 separate classes for my son and there are 2 different teachers. Zack and Chloe engage my son's imagination and energy. I feel like they genuinely care for my son. They are very knowledgeable about development and what is normal for toddlers. My son LOVES going to "tumblin".
Overall, we absolutely love the little gym and all the staff. Cannot recomend it enough.
The Little Gym has quickly become a staple in our weekly routine! We LOVE The Little Gym!
What I love:
•Staff is well-trained, fun, and friendly.
•The curriculum emphasizes child-led learning through fostering independence and exploration.
•Facility is clean, well lit, and very easy to find.
•Very fair pricing and easy EFT/billing process
•Activities are well planned out so every child in the class can participate in their terms. I love how the skills are modified for each individual child so they can be challenged without being pushed to fear, frustration, or discouragement.
•Class is great social practice for my strong-willed only child. She is learning to be aware of others as she plays, how to take turns with/on equipment, and how to transition from one activity to the next without throwing a fit.
What my 2 year old loves:
•Mr. Zach (she is deeply obsessed with him)
•Singing the Welcome & Goodbye songs with the shakers
•Wide variety of equipment and skills taught
•Playing with friends
•Stamps on her hand after class
I cannot recommend The Little Gym in Farmington highly enough. Watching my daughter play, learn, and explore is so fun for me as a parent, but nothing beats the pride and excitement on her face when she attempts a new skill or masters one she’s been practicing.
We went to a gym before that was more structured. Eliza can be a free bird and wander. The open gym concept doesn't fit with her personality or our needs for a gymnastics program. She gets open play at school and home. We are looking for something to help teach her a skill and a bit of personal discipline. The staff is great and friendly. We just desire more of a structured environment.
Zach at Farmington, UT is a very fun, energetic instructor. I love how every week there are different activities, instead of the same routine. I love watching my son interact with him, his classmates, and the different equipment. And now that I have my toddler enrolled, I'm excited to she how she reacts to being able to be in the gym area.
On a side note, I wish the facility was deep cleaned every once in a while. I find several foreign hairs sticking to my kids' clothing, etc. from the gym area, and I now try to keep shoes on my toddler because the foyer area has made her feet very dirty on a few occasions.
I absolutely love the confidence it is giving my daughter. She has learned how to walk and many other activities here. Her social skills are also blossoming.
Laid back environment for toddlers to be introduced to gymnastics. Zack makes it super fun!
Management is so unorganized.
Extremely poor communication. No response to emails. Staff doesn’t even know what’s going on. I asked a staff member on 3 separate occasions what the parent night out fee was. I was told $40 per family each time so I finally signed up. I was charged $75 and when I emailed about it, no response. We ended up quitting the preschool program before the end of the year because I didn’t feel like my two kids were learning anything academically.
The only positive is they did learn body confidence and increased strength enough that one of them can do the monkey bars at the playground.
We are only able to come on Saturdays, as I am a working mother. We like the girls that are teaching, however they do not keep my toddlers interest peaked. He has fun, but wish he was learning more.
