The Little Gym of Dumbo is excited to join the neighborhood! Coming with staff and instructors from our Brooklyn Heights locations (est 2007), we're thrilled to bring our progressive, child-centered classes to Dumbo.
We're here to provide a safe, engaging, supportive environment for your child to learn real skills and have serious fun! Offering activities for ages 4 months to 12 years, come develop your motor skills or your back hand spring!
Our staff of highly trained enthusiastic and caring instructors come from a variety of gymnastics, dance, child development, performing arts and sports backgrounds all with the same aim: to help your child thrive emotionally, physically and socially.
Building confidence, problem-solving, self-regulation skills and much more, in addition to full age-appropriate locomotor and gymnastics skills on all the apparatus (beam, bars, tumbling, rings, vault), The Little Gym classes are the springboard to life's success!

An innovative educator, musician and kinesiologist, Robin Wes envisioned a nurturing place where children could explore their physical development, while also growing socially, emotionally and intellectually. He opened the first The Little Gym in 1976 in Bellevue, Washington and infused those early classes with the same positive, non-competitive spirit that characterizes us today. Forty-five years later, children at The Little Gym of Dumbo experience the benefits of Serious Fun.
