AJ is an awesome teacher! He helped our girl build confidence and coordination perfectly. When she b did something great, he would tell her... I loved that !

We had experience with the Little Gym a few years ago when we lived in Texas and were excited to have one so close to us when we moved to Utah recently. There are two areas of focus as to why I am disappointed in the experience: 1- The structure for the class, typically there would be 3 teachers at the facility. Two of the teachers would sit behind the desk with one of the teachers in the gym working with the kids. When one of the other teachers would go into the the gym area they would stand around and did not provide assistance in teaching the kids or helping them to stay focused. My expectation coming to the gym is there would be one lead teacher and when an assistant teacher is in the gym they work in conjunction with the lead teacher to help the children stay focused, divide the kids up into smaller more manageable groups, and when doing stations to have at minimum two teachers at the more difficult stations to assist the kids with the skills. During the station break-out typically the kids would run around and do whatever they would like. There was one instance when a child putt a matt on top of the double bars and started climbing on top of them which seemed unsafe. 2- The result of having only one teacher in teaching a group of kids is there was no real instruction happening. In our past gymnastics experience when a new skill is being taught the teacher spots the children and works with them to master the skill. An example is with cartwheels. The children were expected to do cartwheels, the teacher showed them a cartwheel and then watched as they attempted their versions of cartwheels. There was no spotting, correcting, areas on the mat to show hand and feet placement. We will be looking for a different gym to send our child too that offers more structure, coaching and guidance. If there are changes in these areas let us know, we are willing to try again.

I love the program, I think everything that is taught is great. The only thing that could improve are the prices. It’s extremely expensive, especially to enroll 2 children.
