The Little Gym of Puyallup 2018 REWIND

We are blessed to be in such a wonderful community.  Thanks to the support of our members, the local Puyallup community and the greater Pierce County area, The Little Gym of Puyallup had a fantastics 2018!

We Moved... to Sunrise Village and opened for classes in our new location in January.  We received an abundance of positive support and feedback from the community since we moved.

We Participated... in several local community events.  We marched in the Daffodil Parade for the fifth straight year.  Our show teams performed at Meeker Days and in Washington State Fair (Spring and Fall).  We also sponsored a Kids' Night Out during the summer concert series at Sunrise Village.

We Were Recognized... by The Little Gym Internation.  Our two (2) Program Directors, Miss Sophia and Miss Sam, were presented with a Directors' Circle award for excellence in member retention.  Our gym was also recognized with a Presdident's Circle award for overall enrollment, which included an invitation to the Franchisee Leadership Summit that Mr. Tom attended.

We Trained... a lot!  Our team took CPR and First Aid training in March.  That same month, Miss Sam, Miss Sophia, and Mr. Tom traveled to New Mexico to participate in a national training program at our annual Reunion event led by The Little Gym International, which included spending time with Robin Wes, founder, and Randy McCoy, curriculum developer.  We also attended a regional training event led by The Little Gym International where Miss Kelsey, Miss Larissa, Miss Sophia and Miss Sam learned new ways to grow kiddos' confidence and skills.  We continued to conduct bi-weekly training sessions in our gym for our entire team.

We Gave Back... to the community!  We donated the proceeds from the sale of bottled waters in our lobby which totaled over $450 raised for SeriousFun Children's Network (  We raised and additional $200 for SeriousFun Children's Network by donating all proceeds from our Lemonade Sip & Play event. We donated over $440 to the Diego Moreno Memorial Fund in support of Kent Police Officer Diego Moreno.  Officer Moreno, who was once an instructor at The Little Gym of Kent, died in the line of duty in July.  We collected over $500 worth of school supplies and donated them to St. Francis Hospital so that those supplies could be used in the local education community.  We collected several thousand dollars' worth of items from members along with over $730 in cash, all of which was donated to Treehouse for Kids ( to help foster children have a better Christmas.

We Celebrated... with our members!  We hosted many members-only events.  Our Halloween Party is always a huge hit with the kiddos who get to wear their costumes and play in the gym.  Our Holiday Party is a family favorite.  Santa and Mrs. Claus were here again, taking pictures with member families.  We hosted a series of members-only events for the first time this summer.  These included Usborne Book by Jen Larson, a painting class led by Pinot's Palette and fun with the Reptile Zoo.  Of course, we had a great time at our annual Show Week!
