Our Story

Who we are at

The Little Gym of Ft. Worth(Southwest)

The McGehee family purchased The Little Gym of Fort Worth SW in 2017 after experiencing the program as members first.  Their oldest child, Colton, began as a Bird in the Parent Child program and they loved watching him grow and flourish while attending classes. They quickly realized The Little Gym was a very special place with a magic all its own.
Wendy and Kyle now have three children, Colton, Hunter, and Kinley who all attend a variety of classes that they love at The Little Gym. They are ecstatic to continue serving the families of The Little Gym of Fort Worth SW and making sure everyone leaves more confident, prouder and happier than when they entered the gym. The McGehee family is honored to serve the community and provide a place where all children are loved and celerated for who they are!

Our Philosophy of Three Dimensional Learning

The Little Gym of Ft. Worth(Southwest), our environment is fun, but our purpose is serious. That’s why we embrace a proprietary philosophy called Three-Dimensional Learning, in which physical activity is a conduit for nurturing your whole child. The Three-Dimensional Learning approach to skill development means that every class we offer fosters growth in three holistic dimensions—Brain Boost!, Get Moving! and Citizen Kid!.  Read on to see how each dimension of learning helps your child grow into a well-rounded, well-adjusted super kid.

45 Years of

Serious Fun

An innovative educator, musician and kinesiologist, Robin Wes envisioned a nurturing place where children could explore their physical development, while also growing socially, emotionally and intellectually. He opened the first The Little Gym in 1976 in Bellevue, Washington and infused those early classes with the same positive, non-competitive spirit that characterizes us today. Forty-five years later, children at The Little Gym of Ft. Worth(Southwest) experience the benefits of Serious Fun.

We're proud of
