The Big Picture

#GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good.

In the spirit we are launching, we’re excited to share that we are launching two Scholarship campaigns for 2022!

Pay It Forward scholarship
Through the generous make-up donations of our Members, the Pay It Forward scholarship will be awarded to children whose family members are health care professionals, first responders, and other essential employees. One scholarship will be awarded per age group: Parent Child, Pre-K, & Grade School.

Bob Joers scholarship
Bob Joers was a cherished part of The Little Gym franchise family and an inspiration to everyone that had the honor to know him. He was the embodiment of The Little Gym spirit; a larger-than-life presence and charismatic leader with a true passion for teaching. Bob sadly succumbed to pancreatic cancer in 2020, but his dedication to instilling a love for learning and developing healthy habits at an early age now lives on through The Bob Joers Scholarship.

The Bob Joers Scholarship will be awarded to children whose family has been aff­ected by hardship. One scholarship will be awarded per age group: Parent Child, Pre-K, & Grade School.

Now through December 19^th, we are taking nominations for both Pay It Forward and Bob Joers scholarships. Please send nominations via email: TLGEverettWA@thelittlegym.com. Nominations will be reviewed by the TLG-Everett Team, and recipients will be chosen. Scholarship recipients will be gifted class enrollments from Jan 4^th – June 30^th, 2022.
