Our Story

Who we are at

The Little Gym of Eagle/Meridian

Serving the Treasure Valley since 2006 - The Little Gym of Eagle/Meridian offers safe, fun, and encouraging programs that help young children develop physical skills and self-confidence through progressively structured classes and a positive learning environment, all with a fantastic smile that stretches from ear to ear.

Owners, Andrea and Momoko, believe there is no greater privilege than helping children and their families realize their dreams for the future. With two children of their own who have been part of The Little Gym family, they consider it a blessing to be part of such a transformative opportunity.

Our Gym Director, Christina Creager, was raised walking on her hands and flipping around the house. After High School, she received her degree in Elementary Education, and has thus appreciated the opportunity to marry her passions of fitness and education since 2007! Working alongside Christina our Program Director, Catlyn Smith, grew up in Boise! With parents who hold an affinity for the arts, she had a myriad of opportunities to express herself through dance, piano, and acting whilst growing up. Having been with The Little Gym since 2010, she has not only had the opportunity to make a difference in countless Treasure Valley kiddos' lives, but she's also had the opportunity to shape the lives of young Australians, while she worked at The Little Gym of Bella Vista in Sydney, Australia. Catlyn is overjoyed to share her knowledge, joy, and silly antics with the dear families here at The Little Gym of Eagle/Meridian. Our trained instructors nurture happy, confident kids (ages 4 mos – 12 years) through a range of developmentally appropriate programs from Parent/Child gymnastics classes (including sports/dance) up to intermediate/advanced Grade School gymnastics, plus fun extras like parties, camps and more!

Philosophy

Our Philosophy of Three Dimensional Learning

The Little Gym of Eagle/Meridian, our environment is fun, but our purpose is serious. That’s why we embrace a proprietary philosophy called Three-Dimensional Learning, in which physical activity is a conduit for nurturing your whole child. The Three-Dimensional Learning approach to skill development means that every class we offer fosters growth in three holistic dimensions—Brain Boost!, Get Moving! and Citizen Kid!.  Read on to see how each dimension of learning helps your child grow into a well-rounded, well-adjusted super kid.

History
45 Years of

Serious Fun

An innovative educator, musician and kinesiologist, Robin Wes envisioned a nurturing place where children could explore their physical development, while also growing socially, emotionally and intellectually. He opened the first The Little Gym in 1976 in Bellevue, Washington and infused those early classes with the same positive, non-competitive spirit that characterizes us today. Forty-five years later, children at The Little Gym of Eagle/Meridian experience the benefits of Serious Fun.
