Hey parents, as always we post the themes for the year starting in September so you can make your plans ahead of time.
Parents’ Survival Nights run on Friday nights from 6:00-9:00 and include activities, pizza, snacks, juice, crafts and tones of imagination! They are extremely popular and just about EVERY ONE sold out last year, so we added 3 more and they sold out too! We’ve added a few more fun themes this year, so look below for the dates and CALL 519-681-9100 to register in some or all!
Friday Oct 30th 6:00-9:00 - Hallowe'en Dress Up Party
Get some extra use out of those costumes and bring your little ghost, goblin or princess all dressed up and ready for FUN as they run through mazes, obstacle courses and try to escape from our "haunted" house.
Friday Nov 27th 6:00-9:00 - Winter Rodeo
Get ready to “Gitty-up, Pardner” – for this Wild West adventure here at The Little Gym! With “Ropin’ Pigs”, “Runaway Stagecoach Rides” and of course the “Buckin’ Bronco Hoedown” your child is shure tu have a hoot! But leave your holster at home! All you’ll need for this Wild West Ride is your smile, your imagination and a cowboy boot full of “gumption”! (Whatever that is!)
Friday Dec 18th 6:00-9:00 – Winter Safari
Get your shopping done while the kids search for seals on the hidden icebergs, race along snow mobile runs and chase penquins in the ice castle. Don’t miss out.
Friday Jan 29th 6:00-9:00 - Pirate Island
The “Little Gym Pirates” embark on unforgettable adventure on Pirate Island as they search for the “Jolly Roger’s Hidden Treasure” - the silliest pirate that ever tickled a squid! Searching for strange clues that have our little pirates doing everything from straddle rolls to back handsprings is just a sample of what is in store. Will they find the treasure? What kind of incredible pirate gymnastics and games does Jolly Roger do to get his “jollies?” You’ll just have to hop on board and see!
Saturday Feb 13th 2009 6:00 – 9:00 – Valentine Friends
THIS NIGHT IS FOR YOU PARENTS! Get out and spend some well deserved time together the day before Valentines! In the meantime, the kids will embark in super fun and wacky relays, obstacle courses and games that will focus on team building and cooperation.
Friday Feb 26th 2009 6:00-9:00 – Dragons & Dinosaurs
Dinosaurs and dragons will be making their way into many of the activities and into the childrens’ imaginations tonight. Our “little archeologists” might go on a “dinosaur search,” and pretend to be dinosaurs and dragons themselves as they explore through “Sharp Tooth Valley!”
Friday March 26th 6:00-9:00 – Easter EGGstravaganza!
With Easter right around the corner, we are going to start the party early! Join us for an egg & spoon race, an Easter Egg hunt "TLG style", relays, music, crafts & more!
Friday April 30th 6:00-9:00 - Spring Sports Spectacular
Ahhh spring the smell of the fresh cut grass. The sight of kids running around without their jackets on and the sound of that POP as you hit that golf ball just right! Yes folks we are going to work on their golf swing, tennis swing and frisbee toss with your little one… just bring them on in and we’ll do the rest!
Friday May 28th 6:00-9:00 - Slumber Party
Bring your jammies and your favourite cuddly, it's going to be a slumber party at The Little Gym, complete with a pillow fight and popcorn and a flick! You will still need to pick them up by 9:00... but we can at least pretend!
Friday June 25th 6:00-9:00 - End of School Bash!
Yipee - school is out and there is no better place to celebrate with friends than The Little Gym. Round up all your classmates and come on in for cheer, music, dance, games and food. This IS the place to be!
Friday July 23rd 6:00-9:00 – Hip Hip Hooray!
Fun, crazy, creative games and activities where everyone is a winner! Wild gymnastics and sports related games and activities will make this PSN hard to forget. The “Body Slam-boree”, “King-Kong Archery”, “Balloon Volleyball”, “Pepperoni Baseball” and “Pin The Tail On The Big Fat Pig!” are just a few of the “one-of-a-kind” games featured.
Friday Aug 27th 6:00-9:00 - Back to School Hawaiian Beach Bash
Girls put on your grass skirts and bikinis, boys bring your Hawaiian shirt and surfer shorts and get ready for an end of summer, back to school beach bash! Kids will pretend to be creatures on the beach, dive into deep pools of spring water and of course dance and limbo the night away.
At the corner of Wellington and Commissioners in the "Mandarin Plaza" where you will also find East Side Marios, Cora's and A&P. We are on the second floor. The elevator is located beside the Flight Center and will take you right up to us. We look forward to seeing you soon!
