Hey Little Gym Friends!

We had our busiest and best summer ever thanks to our motivated students, our fun-loving instructors, and all of you parents. Hope your summer was equally awesome! We’re going to miss arts & crafts, story time, and all the energy your children brought to every camp, but it’s finally time to roll out our all new curriculum!

If you haven’t heard about it, we’re livening up every aspect of our classes: streamlining class flow, improving skill progressions, and making our goals in teaching more transparent.

Make sure to check our new curriculum board. It will highlight the goals of our multi-week Learning Units for each class. We will still employ our spiraling skill progression (reinforcing old skills while layering in new ones), but the Learning Units will help everyone to better understand and internalize our physical, social, and cognitive challenges.

Lots of big ideas, but they pare down to one thing for your kids: Serious Fun.

We look forward to seeing you all this fall. If you haven’t enrolled yet, give us a ring. Classes started September 6th and they’re filling up even faster than last year!

Mr. Eric and The Little Gym Team

Hello Folks,

Hope you all enjoyed our show week! Your kids manage to surprise and inspire us with their success season after season. Thanks for letting us play a part in their progressive growth.

Were you able to come by and check out The Little Gym’s new look? The color scheme is, in our unprofessional opinion, super modern and energetic. The kids have adapted to it faster than us, and they laugh every time we ask them to sit by the yellow wall, which is now purple. Guess it was time to shake up our routine, too!

Speaking of change, after a team training in Arizona and a lot of eager anticipation, we’ve finally got our hands on the new curriculum! Allow me to nerd out for a moment: this curriculum is the biggest thing to happen to The Little Gym since we opened. A group of the best instructors I’ve ever met worked tirelessly on this baby for over a year, backed by decades of research, experience, and input from TLG teachers and specialists worldwide. It’s gonna be Serious Fun.

Our summer camps (ages 3.5 – 7) and classes (all ages) are now in progress. Our summer season runs ten weeks, from June 27th through Sep 4th. While space is limited, we are still enrolling in our summer programs and our 20 and 40 week seasons for next school year.  Swing by or give us a ring to get enrolled today.

Best,

Mr. Eric & The Little Gym Team

Hey Parents,

The Little Gym team has a lot to be excited about. We're making the biggest changes to our curriculum and look since TLG Brooklyn Heights opened in 2007! Here are some of the changes, big and small, you can expect to see:

·     New themed lesson plans to keep things fun

·     Multi-week learning units to strengthen skills and concepts

·     New music. If you’ve been here more than a year, you’ll know this is big news

·     POPs (personal outside practice), fun little activities your kids can do at home!

·     A modern look to the gym. No more retro gym colors :)

Have all these improvements left you spinning, or is that just your kid swinging from your arms?

To celebrate these improvements, we’re offering a 40 week season to hold your spot for the entire school year, Sep 6, 2011 – June 17, 2012, and to take advantage of our expanded curriculum.

When you enroll by June 19th, you save $50 per child for choosing the 20 week season and $100 per child for choosing the 40 week season. Current enrolled members will also be entered in a raffle to win a free class or birthday party. If you’ve been to our Little Gym before, you know our classes fill up quickly, so give us a ring or swing by soon to reserve your child’s spot.

Thank you,

Charles & The Little Gym Team
