Laura & Bob Burns discovered The Little Gym in the best way - their own son Danny was a Bird in the North Olmsted Gym! In summer of 1996 they decided to combine their love of children and their desire to own a business by opening a The Little Gym franchise in Twinsburg, Ohio. Coincidentally, they also found out that they would soon be having twins! Well, 1996 & 1997 were very busy. Daughters Ally & Cara joined Danny in setting up and testing the new, fun equipment! Their Little Gym opened in December, 1997. Laura & Bob are still at The Little Gym, along with Assistant Gym Director Ed Shutty, Program Director Laura Sukalac and many other dedicated instructors who have been with the Gym for several years. Bob heads up the karate program, having earned several black belt degrees in different martial arts disciplines. We are very proud to say that The Little Gym of Twinsburg is consistently in the top 10 The Little Gyms around the world.
