After many years of working in corporate America, Lynn Grissom and Susan Bucci were ready to do something exciting and fun. Lynn and Susan are sisters who are equipped with business savvy and a love for children’s fitness; being both career women and mothers, they decided to combine the two aspects of their life. They both fell in love with The Little Gym concept of positively impacting children’s lives. Lynn and Susan combined their extensive marketing and business experience along with their love of children to open the first The Little Gym in Rhode Island in January 2005. The Little Gym of Cranston received the franchisor's prestigious President's Circle Award for three consecutive years. Lynn and Susan are excited to bring The Little Gym to Smithfield in January 2008! Our philosophy is to treat children with dignity and respect, to build their confidence and self-esteem, and to help each child grow as an individual. The Little Gym’s non-competitive, curriculum-based gymnastics program provides an outstanding foundation.
