The Little Gym of Paradise Valley is owned and operated by the Whitfill family, Troy, Gwen, Emma and Mason. Gwen has always been passionate about children and after having their first child in February of 2008, she decided to find a new adventure. On June 9, 2008, they purchased The Little Gym of Scottsdale. On that same day, Gwen and Troy had their first child, Emma in her first Bugs class! Needless to say Emma has grown leaps and bounds and so has the gym(pun intended). In February of 2009 they purchased The Little Gym of Paradise Valley. As the two gyms were growing, so was the Whitfill family. Mason, a son, was born in June of 2010. Gwen moved to the valley back in 1999 after graduating from The University of Tulsa. At TU she was a college cheerleader and majored in Sports Marketing. Her previous jobs in the valley were working in the marketing and community relations department for the Phoenix Suns and also working in the marketing department at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona. Gwen's passion for fitness and children have come together with her dream to operate her own business. Troy was born and raised in Phoenix and is mostly busy with his own landscape maintenance company. You may spot him once in awhile doing some handyman work at either of the gyms or dropping the kids off. Needless to say, The Little Gym of Paradise Valley is a family affair and we would love for your family to call or stop by anytime and meet ours!
