Carrie and Shane Watts have both lived very active lifestyles. Carrie was employed as a Business Development Manager for a large medical reference laboratory and Shane is a Professional Offroad Motorcycle Racer and instructor. Their dream of owning a business that would allow them to be active and involved in the lives of children and their community became a reality when they opened The Little Gym of Hickory. Carrie and Shane were first introduced to The Little Gym while living in Florida when they attended a "bring a friend" day with their daughter, Eden. Since that first visit to The Little Gym they have seen Eden grow "leaps and bounds" physically, socially and mentally. They thought that there couldn't be a better way to spend the day "working" than by watching so many children blossom the way that Eden has. So, they decided to become involved permanently with The Little Gym by purchasing their own franchise.
