So what sets The Little Gym programs apart?
 
Many things.
 
  1. We have been teaching non-competive gymnastics since 1976 and our philosophy has remained the same in all those years. "Motor skill development made fun builds confidence that leads to a lifetime of success."
  2. We focus on teaching a select few programs so that our instructors can become experts in that specialty. And when The Little Gym franchise community does introduce a new program, rest assured it's done with thoughtful preparation, development, and piloting it at real gyms before being rolled out.
  3. There is a focus on developing the "whole" child. Our unique approach is known as Three-Dimensional Learning. GET MOVING is the physical domain which presents weekly opportunities to gain coordination, strength, balance, and body awareness. BRAIN BOOST is the cognitive domain which presents tasks like sequencing, phonemic awareness, and skill recognition. CITIZEN KID is the social aspect of peer interaction, communicating needs, taking turns, and being able to handle setbacks in a positive way.

Meet the Gym Director Melissa
Hello Everyone!
 
When you begin taking classes at The Little Gym of Germantown, we invite you into our family. I'm the Gym Director Melissa and I am eager to meet you.
 
You can learn more about me at my blog (which I sometimes forget to update) which is why I've called it "Making Time for Everything".
 
Between myself and the other instructors at the gym, we have more than 20 years of teaching experience in The Little Gym's programs. Want to know a little bit more about us?

We're Moving
It's been a wonderful 11 years at Kingsview Village Shopping Center, but we couldn't pass up the opportunity to join the new shopping center in north Germantown with Wegmans!!
 
As of September 2, we will be operating at the Shops at Seneca Meadows.
 
Business will continue as usual at our current location until then and the good news is that all of your favorite teachers will be staying with us at the new gym!

Instead, I am posting one photo to let you members know about our upcoming gym relocation to north Germantown in September!! More information and photos to come in the upcoming weeks.
Tips on Choosing the Right Class
We would love to see every child be comfortable and confident in one of our classes here at The Little Gym of Germantown. To ensure that this experience is happening, we encourage parents to talk with us before the first class, and every day thereafter.
 
Here's the information that we would like to know:
  • Is this your child's first structured group class experience?
  • If not, what have they done before? How did they do in that setting?
  • What are you hoping that your child will learn?
  • In comparison to other children the same age, how would you rate your child's physical skills? language skills? coordination?
  • What is the best way for us to work with your child and make sure that he/she is successful?

Expect to spend between 8-15 minutes in conversation with one of our team members during an initial meeting. If you are calling to get information, call us when you know you have the time and aren't rushed. If you prefer to send an email, think about including some personal information about your child so that we can, in turn, personalize our response.

Once you and a team member have spoken, ask us for our recommendation about a class. We can often suggest a specific class based on your individual needs.

Sign up for a 10-week session of classes for only $205!  Classes run June 17 through August 25.
 
Seem too far away for you? Check out the current class schedule and consider joining us for the remaining classes at a pro-rated cost.
 
Spring classes:
$87.50 for every 4 weeks of classes
Minimum 4 week enrollment.
Serious Fun runs now through June 16.
 
Summer classes:
$205 for 10 weeks
$164 for 7 weeks
Pay a $100 deposit to save your space with the remainder due by first class.
 
To begin taking classes, you first become a member. The family membership covers all children for a year and is only $40. With the membership, your entire family can benefit from discounts on parties, camps, & parents' survival nights, in addition to other exclusive offers.
 
Once enrolled in a class, your child can also begin attending free weekly practice time sessions!!
