A lot of our instructors love teaching in the summer. One reason - we get to host summer CAMPS, in addition to classes! We have the kids for 3 hours at a time during the camps. If you have young children, you know that is a LONG time. Haha. So we always end up doing some crazy, whacky games and activities and the instructors have just as much fun as, if not more than, the kids!! Each camp week has a different theme. Last week the theme was "Who's Your Hero". The kids were learning about firefighters, police officers, doctors, nurses, etc. So one day, we thought it would be fun to have our very own Nurse Tanna come in and talk to the kids. Miss Tanna is actually a teacher here at The Little Gym of Edwardsville, but she has almost completed her nursing degree. So, she put on her scrubs, brought in her stethoscope, and chatted with kids for awhile. They LOVED meeting a real live nurse!!! I just had to take some pictures.
