Melodie and Ken Berkhout are the new owners of The Little Gym of Corona. They have been a part of The Little Gym family since 2000 when they opened The Little Gym of Simi Valley. In 2005 they relocated the gym to its current site in Thousand Oaks. The Little Gym seemed just the right sort of business for Melodie whose passion is for teaching children and for a variety of sports. It also went right along with her B.S. in Business Administration from Auburn University and her many years of work in the financial, investment, and business consultant businesses. Ken has decided to remain with his career with the Local 728 in the Motion Picture business. You might even see his name in the credits of your favorite movie! Kyle (8) and Mekenna (6) were all for the Corona gym and have affectionately termed it the C.O. gym, since the other one is the T.O. gym! You may find them at the gym periodically with "Miss Mel" as they greet you at the door or show you where to put your shoes. Miss Mel is known in T.O. for her love of teaching the children and growing some amazing skills in children so young. She also has the ability to speak to the children in just such a way as for them to understand a new way to attempt the same skill and experience success.
