Hi! My name is Joanne Mikalauskas and I have been involved in gymnastics and swimming my whole life. As a child I became an advanced gymnast and competed briefly in high school. Very briefly! I decided competition wasn't for me, but continued in the sport for the shear love of it! When I started teaching gymnastics and swimming the love of the sports continued and I soon realized that my love for working with children far outweighed that.I had been dreaming about opening my own gym for years and when I discovered The Little Gym, I knew it was a perfect fit! As a program director and instructor, I have more than 20 years experience teaching children gymnastics, swimming and sports skills. I graduated Georgian Court University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with concentrations in educational and child psychology.
